Finding Your Farm Tipping Point is a unique, one-of-a-kind experience designed specifically for the family farm that strives to be a successful full-time business. MOTHER EARTH NEWS and-world renowned author and farmer Joel Salatin have crafted a program that doesn’t just focus on the business of farming, but also the inherent nuances of a family operation that impacts all people involved both financially and emotionally.
Our mission is to address the three Ps of family agri-business: pennies, plans and people. The schedule, which spans three days, will cover topics such as the shared risk of entrepreneurship, personal synchronicity, intergenerational succession as well as financial management, farmstead design, mobility, logistics and marketing principles.
Although anyone is welcome, this program is especially geared for couples who share responsibilities within their farm business. (Couples sharing lodging can receive more than 30 percent off per person from the package rates.) All sessions are written, tailored, and presented by Joel Salatin and are limited in size to enhance interaction and personalization.
This event is designed to be very personal and interactive so space is strictly limited.
Reservations are available first-come, first-served.
